If You Were There...

You have a five-year-old brother who can “read your mind” with unbelievable accuracy.
I would be really freaked out at first, but try to use his ability to help me find out what people around me are thinking!
Mrs. Whatsit has just knocked at your door in the middle of the night.
"WHO ARE YOU!? WHAT DO YOU WANT? GET OUT, OR I'M GONNA CALL THE POLICE!!!!"
You are listening angrily to the principal of the school explain just how uncooperative and belligerent you are
*Smack him* and say,"Sorry, I'm just a bit uncooperative."
You are in eleventh grade, A five-year-old child begins an intellectual conversation with you, through which you find out that he is intellectually equal, and perhaps, superior, to you.
"Whoa. Who are you, kid?", and ask him to do my homework for me.
Three unbelievably strange women want you to go on a dangerous mission with them.
"Um, sorry, I think you must have mistaken me for someone else...", and run away as fast as I can.
You experience travel through time and space.
Write an article about it and become famous and rich!
You are the man with the red eyes. Charles Wallace has just kicked you.
" Guard? Take him to the room where that boy who didn't bounce his ball right is being tortured. And make him kick the wall for 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times."
You are IT, eager to control some new minds from Earth.
"Yeah! 1x1 is 1, 1x2 is 2, 1x3 is 3, 1x4 is 4, 1x5 is 5..."
You meet IT for the first time.
Freak out. "AHHHHHHHH! EWWWWW... A huge disembodied brain!? It definitely is an IT..."
IT tries to take over your mind.
Run away screaming at the top of my lungs.
Knowing what it is like to tesser, you have been asked to tesser again.
"No thank you. I'd rather walk there."

King Kay

After Sir Kay became the king, he killed all the loyal knights just because they can't sweet-talk as well as the other untruthful knights. Sir Kay killed Arthur to prevent him from causing any trouble, and keeping the truth: that Arthur is the true heir of King Uther, from everyone. He also went to kill Merlin, in fear of him revealing the truth.  Kay tried, but failed, because Merlin was too strong and Merlin stopped him and banished him from England. Merlin was very sad that people are so evil, so he casted a spell to make people wise and good-hearted again, and he became the king.

The Pressure To Conform

Peer pressure is the influence of you classmates, which makes you want to act, look, and sound like them and eveyone else. My friends and I don't really want to be like everyone else, but some of my other friends want to look and dress like high schoolers. Peer pressure doesn't really affect me, because I am not very different from others, and I don't really have to change myself to fit in. I do care about what others think of me, of course, but everyone does, and caring about what others think doesn't mean it's because you want to fit in. Do I go along with the crowd even though I know what they are doing is wrong? Well, I'd just tell them it's not really a good idea, and if they don't listen, I just ignore them, I don't go along with them. Do I do things just because my friends do them, not because I really want to? Sometimes, it really depends on which one of my friends is doing it, but I usuall do it because I don't want everyone to hate me or talk behind my back. Do I do "popular" of "unpopular" things? Yeah. Popular things are mostly just whatever everyone else does, and I definitely do them. The most unpopular thing I did was probably just hanging out with someone when he/she is "temporarily hated by everone else". I think going along with the crowd is fine with me. I think I go along better with friends who go his/her own way, I don't like faking smiles and lying just to sound polite (that what popular girls do anyways). Do I say "No!" so my peers if they give me a choice that I know is unwise or wrong? Yes, but I say it mildly, likke "nah, I'm good", or "um, I don't wanna get caught". I don't act umcomfortably just to be accepted, I don't really care. What I do either fits in or doesn't, so what? My voice definitely has more control over me, not my peers. I would say no to the man with the red eyes, I don't want to be controlled.

Ueli Gegemschatz Soars in a Wing Suit

When I first saw this article, I was pretty amazed. To me, sky-diving is already quite exciting to me, but SOARING in a WINGSUIT? That’s just unbelievable. This guy, Ueli Gegemschatz, was really fascinated in sky diving because he thought it was very thrilling. Wing suit flying is a very extreme sport. A wing suit helps you add more surface area to your body, so you can “float” in the sky, because of the increased “lift”. Many people dreamed of soaring in the air, and wing suit just helped many people experience an even more vivid feeling of flying, and I would like to try it someday too!

Are We Born To Run?

In this video, Christopher McDougall talks about how we, humans, are born to run. We are bornto run, our body was built to run, and we can run animals to death. We were born to run barefoot, and we are better at running (to chase down an animal) when we run together, as a team. If we practice running constantly, we can still be fast when we're like, 60. Running is a sport we can do until we're VERY old, so it's great, unlike some other sports. We were supposed to run in bare foot, but some people invent the "running shoes" that actually hurts are legs, so we should go back to the traditional type of running! We are born to run!

Life Or Death

" Imagine you’re in a life/death situation; your survival depends on giving your correct answer to   one of these questions:
             1.      What do children want most in the world?
             2.      What does a man want most in the world?
             3.      What does a woman want most in the world?"
What do children want the most in the world? We, the children, definitely want some freedom. We want to have the freedom to watch hours of television, play hours of computer games, and buy whatever we want. We also want (need) someone to take care and care for us. We don't want to be lonely and hungry, neither do we want to be poor and wild... We also want to PLAY. PLAYING is like the LIFE of us! We can't survive without some time to play, we love playing and fooling around. We are just children after all.
What do men want the most? Men, they are the "workers", the "money-earners" of their families. So, of course they want to have money. They want to be able to avoid hunger and enjoy their life. They also want peaefulness. Especially men with children, because children can be quite annoying and loud, and they also tend to make you VERY angry sometimes. Men also want some comfort. They are always expected to work hard for the family, and they get very tired. They'd want some comfort after all the working.
What do women want the most? Money. Women all LOVE shopping, so they need money to spend. Women also wants some respect. They've always been treated unfairly for past centuries, so they feel that respect is very important to them. Women also want someone they can talk to. They always have something to say, and most of the time, they need someone to tell.
Alright, I hope my answers save me!
